Terms of service
Plain terms for a plain service. Effective 2026-09-14.
- The service
- Tanqeet is an HTTP API that renders Arabic HTML to PDF and PNG and verifies Arabic text. Every response can carry a verification report. It is a product of Tarkib, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
- The key is the account
- There is no username or password. A key is issued to an email address and shown once; we cannot show it again. Anyone holding the key can spend its quota, so keep it out of client-side code and public repositories. If a key leaks, request a new one and write to us to disable the old one.
- Plans and caps
- Free: 200 documents a month. Starter: 2,000. Growth: 10,000. Scale: 50,000. A document is one render or verify call. Past the cap the API answers 429 until the month rolls over or you upgrade; there is no metered overage and nothing is charged beyond the plan price.
- Your documents
- What you send is rendered in memory, returned and dropped. Nothing is stored and nothing is used for anything but your request. Details on the privacy page.
- Payment
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions sold through Paddle, the merchant of record: Paddle takes the payment, issues the receipt and handles tax. Tarkib owns and operates the product. A subscription renews every month until you cancel it from the Paddle receipt email or the customer portal; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid.
- Refunds
- The first payment of a subscription is refundable within 14 days. The full policy is on the refunds page.
- Acceptable use
- Send only content you have the right to render. Do not probe, overload or try to break the service, and do not resell raw access to it. We may suspend a key that does, and we will say why.
- Availability and changes
- The service is offered as it is, without an uptime guarantee. We may change endpoints, fonts or prices; changes that affect paid customers are announced by email at least 14 days ahead. If we discontinue the service, paid periods not yet used are refunded.
- Liability
- To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the month the claim arose. Check the verification report before you rely on a document; that is what it is for.
- Governing law
